In 1987,SAP Leisure and Resort Sdn Bhd was given the responsibility to participate in the development of 454 acres of land know as Templer Park Resort by the Selangor State Government. On August 2,1990, PTGC held its Ground Breaking ceremony which was officiated by the Menteri Besar Selangor Darul Ehsan.On December 13,1992, the full 18 holes were officially declared opened for play by the Club President.On November 4,1995, PTGC was officially opened by the DYMM Sultan Selangor Darul Ehsan.
